Lunella Debique, or LuLu as everyone affectionately knows her, is our 2010 Jeanne Jugan Award recipient. Her outstanding service to our home and the qualities that she possesses have inspired her coworkers to nominate her for this prestigious award. LuLu exhibits many characteristics of Jeanne Jugan; not the least of which is her self-forgetfulness. On countless occasions, LuLu has providentially come to the aid of persons in the mostly needful situations. “Be little, very little” said St. Jeanne Jugan. Even if helping another would delay her in tending to her own needs, LuLu makes herself “very little” and serves the other person without regard for herself. Lunella Debique personifies St. Jeanne Jugan in every action and we are please to announce her as our 2010 Jeanne Jugan award recipient.
